The college graduation ceremony Thursday in a Fort Hood auditorium next to the site of the mass shooting was less about pomp and more about circumstance. At the back of the stage, a table held 134 diplomas for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. At the front of the stage, a man lay bleeding as military graduates in black gowns and mortarboards kneeled to give first aid.

A few of you have been reporting that you are having issues with the spell-checker in the new version of Yahoo! Mail. I just want to let you know that we are aware of the issue and will have a fix out soon. In the meantime, you can use the built-in spell checking functionality of some of today's modern browsers. For example, the latest versions of Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari all have in-line spell checkers. If you don't have one of those browsers installed or don't want to install one, you can use classic Yahoo! Mail until we have rolled out the fix (from 'Options' click the 'Switch

Former football star Lawrence Taylor has been released on bond following his arrest in a Miami-area traffic accident. According to Miami-Dade County jail records, Taylor was charged Sunday with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, a second-degree misdemeanor.
